YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. (Nov. 21, 2013) – The University of North Georgia received the Overall Institutional Excellence in Advancement Award at the 2013 Georgia Educational Advancement Council (GEAC) Conference, held Nov. 20-22 at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, Georgia.
The award recognizes institutions demonstrating outstanding achievement and commitment to higher education advancement. Advancement encompasses a range of efforts, including fundraising, alumni relations, communications and marketing, that help institutions build relationships and secure support for their missions.
The recognition celebrates the University of North Georgia’s advancement efforts and the collective contributions of the professionals who support the institution’s engagement and fundraising initiatives.
