SAVANNAH, Ga. (Nov. 21, 2014) – Norma Kennedy of East Georgia State College received the Communications and Marketing Award at the 2014 Georgia Educational Advancement Council (GEAC) Conference, held Nov. 18-21 in Savannah, Georgia.
The award recognizes Kennedy’s contributions to communications and marketing in higher education. Effective communications and marketing help colleges and universities share their stories, connect with their communities and communicate the value of their educational programs and services.
The recognition highlights Kennedy’s work in the field of higher education advancement and the role communications professionals play in strengthening institutional visibility and engagement.
